Customer Rating: Summary: This Item Shouldn't be on the Market Comment: This toy barely works. The charge only lasts for a minute or two. The "mouse" sporadically jumps and moves as directed by the controller. The cat was interested and played with the mouse but I qucikly became frustrated with the toy's lack of performance. Please save your money. Customer Rating: Summary: Good toy but....... Comment: My cat enjoys to watch this toy move across the floors in the house. Just as someone said before....keep a pair of tweezers handy to pull out any dust or hair which get caught in the wheels.
While my cat likes this toy, I have mixed feelings about it. My first one broke within a month of receiving it as a gift. From the start we noticed it would only keep its charge for a minute or two at a time. A month later it stopped working completely. Even after I replaced the batteries the mouse would not charge. A friend recently gave me hers as her cats were afraid of it. The second one will not make any left turns, it only will go around in a circle. I think this would be a great toy if it was made better. Customer Rating: Summary: Such a disappointment Comment: This toy was extremely difficult to charge and each charge only gave the mouse about 30-45 seconds of use. My cats were intrigued but frustrated. Like other reviewers have said, there is no reason that this toy could not have been reconfigured so that there was a battery inside the mouse itself. If this toy had actually worked, I think it would have been fun. Customer Rating: Summary: Didn't work! Comment: This product is a nice idea but the charging process was difficult to manage and the buttons on the controls got stuck within a day. My kittens sort of liked seeing a mouse constantly going around in circles but I don't think that was the intention of the product. If the product could be made more sturdy and perhaps run a little faster it would be a really good toy. Customer Rating: Summary: DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY Comment: Cheaply made and underpowered. The mouse motor is powered by a small capacitor which receives its charge for 45 seconds from the two AA batteries in the remote control base. The charge is so weak that it will not even propel the mouse a short distance on a linoleum floor. Poorly designed! Note to the manufactorers: put a stand-alone AAA battery in the motorized mouse instead of a weak capacitor. There is plenty of room for one.
Grab the controls & watch your kitty go crazy for this remote controlled mouse! You literally drive the mouse with the controller and watch your cat chase after it!!!
